아침산책 - 감기

며칠 째 심한 감기로 고생을 하고 있다.

새벽 한 시에 기침 때문에 눈을 뜬 이후로 다시 침대로 돌아가지 못하고 밤을 새웠다.

오늘 아침 Running Club의 달리기도 가지 못했다.

그런데 해가 뜨는 기척을 수평선 부근에서 발견하고 나니 집에 그대로 있을 수가 없었다.

그래서 밖으로 나가 아침을 맞았다.

그래도 밖으로 나갈 마음이 있다는 게 얼마나 다행인지.

나 아직 살아 있음의 증거이니까.

 

I've been struggling with a severe cold for several days.

After waking up at 1 a.m. due to a coughing fit, I couldn't return to bed and ended up staying awake all night.
This morning, I missed the Running Club's run.

But as soon as I noticed the faint signs of sunrise near the horizon, I couldn’t just stay home.

So, I stepped outside to greet the morning.
How fortunate it is that I still have the will to step outside. It's proof that I’m still alive.
