아침 산책 - 바람이 그린 추상화

 

어제는 바람이 불었다.

마주하기가 힘들 정도로 강하게 얼굴을 때리던 바람이

오늘 아침엔 많이 사그라들었다.

 

바닷가로 나갔다.

어제 불던 바람이 모래 위에 추상화를 남겨 놓았다.

조개껍데기와 조약돌을 스쳐 지나가며

기묘한 구성 작품을 창작한 것이다.

 

바람이 남긴 흔적, 혹은 기억을 감상하며 산책을 했다.

 

언젠가 불 또 한 차례의 바람,

아니면 또 한 차례의 파도에

이 모든 것들은 사라질 것이다.

 

색즉시공 공즉시색 (色卽是空 空卽是色)

 

볼래 공한 것에 형태가 입혀졌으니

이 또한 공한 것.

 

그 공한 것에 마음을 빼앗기며 보낸 오늘아침.

나는 장자의 호접몽을 꾼 것인가?

 

 

Morning Walk - Abstract Art Painted by the Wind

 

Yesterday, the wind blew.

It was so strong it struck my face, almost too much to bear.
But this morning, it has calmed down significantly.

I went to the seaside.
The wind from yesterday had left an abstract painting on the sand.
Brushing past seashells and pebbles,
it created a strange and wonderful composition.

I walked, admiring the traces—or perhaps the memories—left by the wind.

One day, another gust of wind
or another wave
will erase all of this.

Form is emptiness, and emptiness is form.

What appears as form is draped over the void;
it too is void.

And yet, I spent this morning captivated by that void.
Have I dreamed Zhuangzi's butterfly dream?
