Pienza 일기 - Dolce Sosta

아직 달의 달무리가 사라지기 전에 집을 나섰다.

두어 시간 들판을 걸었다.

아내가 말했다.

"오늘 아침(식사)은 카페에서 할까요?"

아내는 그렇게 하고 싶다는 말이다.

딱히 반대할 이유가 없었다.

아내가 작은 케익 두 개와 또 대니쉬 같은 케칙 하나를 골랐다.

그리고 아메리카노 두 잔.

작은 케익을 입에 털어 넣었다.

머리가 띵할 정도로 달았다.

그런데 맛이 좀 이상했다.

술맛이 났다.

아내는 조금 먹더니 나머지는 나보러 먹으라 했다.

그래서 내가 마저 먹었다.

나중에 알아보니 케익 안에 럼이 들어 있었다.

아침부터 얼굴 붉어질 뻔 했다.

Pienza Diary - Dolce Sosta

We left the house before the moon halo disappeared.

It was dark.

We walked through the fields for a couple of hours.

after walk, wife said,

“Shall we have Italian style breakfast at the cafe today?”

That means she wants to do that.

I had no particular reason to object.

My wife chose two small cakes and a Danish-like cake.

And two cups of Americano.

I popped a small cake into my mouth.

It was so sweet that it made my head tingle.

But the taste was a bit strange.

It tasted like alcohol.

My wife ate a little piece of cake and told me to have the rest.

So I finished my wife's portion too.

I found out later that there was rum in the cake.

My face was almost red in the morning.
