Pienza 일기 - Pay it forward
오늘 피엔짜 앞 계곡에 펼쳐진 자갈길을 달렸다.(Val d'Orcia)
가끔씩 지나가는 차들이 무심히 흘리고 간 먼지를 들여마셔야 했다.
그런데 한 사람은 나를 보자 제법 먼 거리에서 차를 세우고 기다렸다.
나는 지나가며 그에게 거수경례를 했다.
내게 먼지를 선물하지 않으려는 그의 마음씀을 읽었기 때문이다.
내가 앞으로의 삶도 아름답게 살아애 겠다고 마음을 여미게 하는 순간이었다.
This morning, I jogged on the gravel through the farm field in front of Pienza (Val d'Orcia). Occasionally, I had to breathe in the dust carelessly spread by passing cars. But when one driver saw me, he stopped his car quite a distance away and waited. I gave him a salute as I passed by. I read his considerat intention not to gift me dust. It was a moment that made me decide that I would live a beautiful life from now on. - Life Paying it forward
