아침산책 - 순결한 아침

아침에 바다를 바라보니 지평선 근처가 선홍색으로 물들고 있었다.

선명한 주홍색.

하늘엔 구름도 없고 해무도 끼지 않아서

그 빛이 그리 순결하고 아름다울 수가 없었다.

내 마음도 선홍 빛으로 물이 들었다.

봉숭아 꽃물 들이듯,

그렇게 내 마음 속에 하늘 빛으로 물을 들이고 싶다는 생각을 했다.

 

해가 지지는 않을 것이나

그래도 새 아침에 찾아오는 해는 

언제나 순결하다.

 

Morning Walk – A Pure Morning

As I gazed at the sea in the morning, the horizon was tinged with a vivid crimson hue.

A striking scarlet.

With no clouds in the sky and no mist veiling the sea,
that light was so pure and beautiful.

My heart, too, was dyed in that crimson glow—
like the stain of balsam flowers on fingertips.

I wished to imbue my heart with the colors of the sky, just like that.

The sun will never truly set,
yet the sun that greets a new morning
is always pure.
