다시 집에서 맞는 아침

날이 춥고 강한 바람이 불 예정이라는 기상예보 때문에 아침 늦게까지 침대에 누워 있었다.

길 건너에 짓고 있는 빌딩 공사장의 불빛 때문에 시간을 가늠할 수가 없었는데

햇빛이 블라인드에 물드는 것 같았다.

거실에 나와 보니 건축 중인 건물이 눈을 가로막았다.

 

옥상으로 올라갔다.

바람이 불고 추웠다.

 

크루즈 여행을 하는 동안 볼 수 없었던

고향의 아침을 제대로 맞을 수 있었다.

늘 다르면서도 변하지 않는,

집에서 맞이하는 아침 해에는 평화의 빛이 번져 나오고 있었다.

 

 

I stayed in bed until late in the morning because of the weather forecast predicting cold temperatures and strong winds.

The lights from the construction site across the street made it difficult to tell the time, but it seemed like sunlight was beginning to seep through the blinds.

When I stepped into the living room, I found that the rising building had started to block my view.

I went up to the rooftop.
The wind was strong, and the air was cold.

After days on a cruise, I was finally able to greet my hometown’s morning properly.

Always different yet unchanged,
the morning sun at home spread a light of peace across the sky.
