흐린 날의 일몰

여행에서 돌아와 처음으로 일몰을 맞았다.

지평선 부근에는 검은 구름이 두텁게 덥고 있었다.

그 위로 구름 사이로 해가 얼굴을 내밀었다.

해가 지는 반대 편 하늘은 비구름이 한 치의 여유도 없이 덮고 있었다.

 

해가 지평선을 넘어가는 순간을 보기는 어려울 것 같았다.

바람이 시원했다.

아무 생각 없이 그저 날이 어두워지는 방향을 바라보았다.

 

무념무상

 

그러나 어느 순간 구름 사이에 작은 틈이 생기더니

빛이 새어 나오기 시작했다.

붉은빛이 동양화처럼 번지기 시작했다.

 

황홀했다.

 

기다림을 통해 축복처럼 만난 황홀함.

 

Sunset on a Cloudy Day

Returning from the trip, I witnessed my first sunset.

Near the horizon, thick black clouds covered the sky.

Above them, the sun peeked through the gaps between the clouds.

The opposite sky was completely covered with rain clouds, leaving no space.

It seemed unlikely that I would see the moment the sun crossed the horizon.

The breeze was cool.

Without any particular thought, I just gazed at the direction where the day was darkening.

An empty mind.

However, at some moment, a small gap appeared between the clouds, and light began to seep through.

A red light started to spread like an oriental painting.

It was breathtaking.

The ecstasy met through waiting, like a blessing.
